Joan Tyvoll and her husband Steve live in rural Wisconsin. Both their sons are married to lovely wives, and Steve and Joan have 6 grandchildren. Life is good!

Joan is an ordained minister. She has many years of ministry experience to her credit such as pastor, speaker and spiritual director. She is president and founder of the Rest and Be Thankful retreat ministry.

Using her spiritual gifts of pastor/teacher, Joan speaks creatively and clearly about how to know God more intimately. Her favorite teaching topics are those that give people practical advice on how to walk with God day by day.

She is available to speak for special events, retreats, workshops and seminars.
