Rest and Be Thankful Devotionals

One of the goals of the Rest & Be Thankful retreat ministry has always been to provide meaty spiritual food for people who are hungry for God. The R&BT website is designed to provide that kind of day to day help with the devo and Fresh Bread scriptures. We also are proud to offer prayer guides and other devotional material on various themes that can help you in your daily walk with God. Take a look at these offerings!

Family PrayersFamily Prayers
The Fruit of the Spirit found in Galatians 5:22-23 are the building blocks to godly character. These Family Prayers are positive affirmations that claim the blessing, Holy Spirit power and promise of God’s help each day as young and old seek to grow in Christlikeness.

Family Prayers from the Fruit of the Spirit is a guide for praying for your family through an entire month. These simple prayers are meant for young and old, and can be a powerful addition to your family devotion time.

For a gift of $15 to the ministry of R&BT, we will send you a copy of Family Prayers from the Fruit of the Spirit by Joan E. Tyvoll.

DevotionalThe Quiet Heart: Listening to God
In our world it is easy to lose touch with God’s peace and help. The Quiet Heart: Listening to God, by Joan E. Tyvoll, is designed to lead us back to God’s special place of quiet rest. It is a guide for a week of prayer, morning and night. It can be used as a handbook for a special week of retreat, or for your daily walk with God right at home. Each prayer time provides scriptures to read and meditate on, and it also includes an encouragement to journal your own thoughts and prayers.

The journey of seeking God’s peace in the midst of our every day turmoil and stress, learning to hear his voice is a life long quest. R&BT hopes that The Quiet Heart: Listening to God will bless you time and again as you faithfully walk your own road of life.

For a gift of $25 or more to  Rest & Be Thankful, Inc. you will receive the weekly prayer book "The Quiet Heart: Listening to God" by Joan E.Tyvoll.
